NTT Electronics to Exhibits at Inter BEE 2006
Demonstrates latest video codec technologies such as AVC/H.264
Tokyo, Japan. - November 14, 2006 - NTT Electronics Corporation, an industry leader in image compression technology, will be taking part in Japan’s largest broadcasting convention, Inter BEE 2006 (International Broadcasting Equipment Exhibition, Makuhari, Japan), from November 15 to 17.
Under the theme of Innovative HDTV Solutions (booth No.4103), NTT Electronics will display the premier video codec technology including MPEG-2 and AVC/H.264 products and solutions. In addition, we will also have the latest technology on display, which is currently being developed jointly with NTT laboratories.

New Products

NEW: Enhanced audio, MPEG-2 HDTV Encoder/Decoder, “H5100 series”.
This H5100 series is new generation of NTT Electronics’s powerful and reliable encoder/decoder for content transmission.
While retaining the highest video quality, this new H5100 enhanced audio function in order to respond to growing needs towards multi-channel audio, and help to realize dynamic and flexible program creation.
It supports maximum of 16ch at optional, and further Dolby E or Dolby Digital encoding module can be added.
Also, H5100 series incorporates built-in interface for IP transmission, which enables the easy set up of IP transmission without adding external interface. - NEW: IP Transmission Ready! IP Ultra-Compact MPEG-2 Codec,“SU1000”
This ultra-compact, light weight and low power consumption codec is equipped with IP output that supports FEC and encryption function.
SU1000 enables the video transmission over IP, and it incorporates RS-232C terminal. This feature allows the remote control of surveillance cameras.
Video encoding supports Full-D1/Half-D1, and video decoding supports HDTV as well as SDTV. -
NEW: High Video Quality! AVC/H.264 HDTV Real-Time Encoder, “HVE7100”
HVE7100 achieves delivery of high quality HDTV video within limited bandwidth, and is ideal for IPTV, CATV and satellite. HVE7100 supports High Profile and Main Profile as video encoding format, and also incorporates IP and 2 DVB-ASI as output interface. - NEW: Ultra-Compact Full HDTV MPEG-2 Encoder Module, “SC3000E”
SC3000E delivers encoding of full-HDTV video with credit card sized module.
Ultra-compact, low latency encoding is ideal for wireless camcorders.
