Product overview HV9100 Series With an AVC/H.264 CODEC LSI chipset built-in that supports 4:2:2 Chroma, the HV9100 Series provides high-quality and low latency in a wide range of bitrates. H5000 Series The H5000 Series is a high-quality encoder and decoder made for content transmission; it supports a lightweight and compact half-rack size. It can be mounted onto OB Vans, helicopters, and motorcycles and is perfect for transmission and relay from the field and events over ENG/SNG and dedicated lines. Booth demonstration We emphasized the high-definition quality and low latency achieved by our products even at low bitrates by using triple monitors to show original images along with MPEG-2 (12 Mbps) and H.264 (6 Mbps) images. The outstanding quality of MPEG-2 images and the same level of definition achieved by the H.264 at half the bitrate of the MPEG-2 system attracted widespread interest among visitors.

Booth demonstration We conducted demonstrations using simulation images. Our product, which achieves high cost-performance in addition to being usable with HDTV, SDTV, and analog input, which is in great demand in China, stimulated the interest of the audience. Exhibited for the first time in an overseas exhibition, it also attracted the attention of a large number of audiences.

This small-size set-top box-type MPEG-2 Encoder/Decoder is easy to use. Provided with an RS-232C/RS-422 pass-through function for remote control and an upstream audio function from decoder to encoder, this system is best suited to the remote monitoring of rivers, roads, ports and airports.

The world's first single-chip HDTV transcoder LSI (MPEG-2 to AVC/H.264) "Matiz"

Product overview PINEA PINEA is a single-chip solution that delivers high-quality video compression and playback while reducing the processing load on personal computers and networks. It supports H.264/AVC, a next-generation video compression format that provides twice the compression of MPEG-2. Matiz The Matiz is an epoch-making LSI that implements MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 transcoding in a single chip. It can halve the bitrate and double the compression ratio, so HDTV or SDTV contents in MPEG-2 format can be easily stored and transmitted - while retaining premium video quality.

While SDTV is still popular in China, interest in HDTV has grown significantly since the Olympic games in Beijing last summer. Interest in H.264 codec technology has grown during the same period. H.264 is a new codec technology, and many people at the exhibition came in believing that the picture quality of H.264 was still immature.  However, utilizing our long experience in codec development, the HV9100 demonstrated superb picture quality compared to MPEG-2 and impressed many initially skeptical visitors.
