In response to the demands of broadcast professionals, NTT Electronics has produced the world's first High 4:2:2 Profile HDTV/SDTV encoder/decoder. With outstanding flexibility through its support of both the MPEG-2 and AVC/H.264 video compressnion formats, the HV9100 series fits any situation in this period of transition between any formats.
Moreover, we've employed an ASIC solution developed in-house, to realize an extremely fast boot up time of only 15 seconds. By achieving a drastically reduced restarting time after changing parameters, we've produced a codec that is perfect for the workplaces of broadcasters which are required the quick set-up and incessant broadcasting.
