PLCs for visible light

PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) technology is used for AWG (Arrayed Waveguide Grating) and Splitter as one of the key technologies that support optical communication.
Optical communication mainly uses wavelengths in the 1.3 to 1.55 μm band, but PLCs for visible light uses in the wavelength band of around 0.5 um and provide compact, high-performance optical devices for consumer use realizing IoT society.
